Shipping Policy
All orders ship for free. All packages will ship within 2-5 business days from your order. Hotel Ugly ships USPS Ground (3-5 business days). At checkout you may choose to select USPS Priority (1-3 business days) for $12 or Priority Mail Express Overnight (2 days) for $30.
Shipping in US only
Please note - Once your package leaves our hands and is in the hands of the shipping carrier (I.e. USPS), it is no longer the responsibility of Hotel Ugly, and we are not responsible for lost packages. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind and unfortunately cannot be replaced if lost by shipping carriers. That said, we do pay to include shipping insurance on every order so all items lost in transit will be covered by USPS insurance. Please reach out if there is a typo in your shipping address and we'll correct it if we're still in possession of the item.
If your package is lost or stolen in transit please contact your local Postal Office to see what information they can provide and let us know about the issue. We're happy to help get an insurance claim set up and make sure you get compensated for the lost item.

There's something about the ocean that makes it hard to look away. The pull of the current, the rhythm of the waves, the feeling that something extraordinary is happening just beneath the surface. Riptide captures a little of that restless energy in a beautifully patterned stone, where circles of sea green drift across a warm, sandy background. A little unpredictable, a little hypnotic and a reminder that some of life's best moments happen when you let yourself get carried away.
Ocean Jasper is a fascinating variety of orbicular chalcedony found in Madagascar, prized for its unusual circular formations known as orbs. These intricate patterns develop through natural mineral growth, creating remarkable combinations of color and texture that can resemble underwater landscapes. Riptide features an elongated, freeform cabochon with distinct green orbs floating across a soft peach and cream background, each surrounded by delicate rings of contrasting color. Set in sterling silver, the pendant hangs from a substantial handmade paperclip chain, with individually formed, elongated links that give the necklace an organic, rugged character. A beautiful meeting of natural geometry and handcrafted silverwork.

My jewelry is imperfect and meant to look warn. I feel it adds to the one of a kind, handmade quality. I feel it's magic is to continue aging, gathering your energy in it's bones. Please let the dark spots darken and to refresh your shine, brush the high spots with 0000 steel wool. Avoid chemicals & water. Using silver polish will shine it up, removing the distressed patina.
