Wild Blue wears its heart out in the open. Pale blue Dry Creek turquoise is cut into an imperfect heart, crossed by a single line of earthy matrix that feels almost like a crack running through it. A little wild, a little tender and better for not being perfect. Hearts usually are.
Dry Creek turquoise comes from Nevada and is known for its distinctive pale blue to blue-green color, often paired with tan or brown matrix. Its softer coloring gives it a very different character from the brighter blues typically associated with turquoise. This heart-shaped cabochon is set by hand in sterling silver.
Materials + Care
My jewelry is imperfect and meant to look warn. I feel it adds to the one of a kind, handmade quality. I feel it's magic is to continue aging, gathering your energy in it's bones. Please let the dark spots darken and to refresh your shine, brush the high spots with 0000 steel wool. Avoid chemicals & water. Using silver polish will shine it up, removing the distressed patina.
