All orders ship for free. All packages will ship within 2-5 business days from your order. Hotel Ugly ships USPS Ground (3-5 business days). At checkout you may choose to select USPS Priority (1-3 business days) for $12 or Priority Mail Express Overnight (2 days) for $30.
Shipping in US only
Please note - Once your package leaves our hands and is in the hands of the shipping carrier (I.e. USPS), it is no longer the responsibility of Hotel Ugly, and we are not responsible for lost packages. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind and unfortunately cannot be replaced if lost by shipping carriers. That said, we do pay to include shipping insurance on every order so all items lost in transit will be covered by USPS insurance. Please reach out if there is a typo in your shipping address and we'll correct it if we're still in possession of the item.
If your package is lost or stolen in transit please contact your local Postal Office to see what information they can provide and let us know about the issue. We're happy to help get an insurance claim set up and make sure you get compensated for the lost item.
Return/Refund Policy
Refunds accepted within 10 days of receiving your item.
Please email if there is a problem with your order paige@hoteluglymetal.com
Please be confident in your ring size before purchasing. We have ring sizers available on my website if you are unsure.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Details
Bolo Birdo is a little bird with a big personality. Wings stretched wide, a flash of turquoise at its heart and enough hand-stamped silver to make an impression from across the room. There's something wonderfully defiant about a bird that refuses to fold its wings. Maybe it's getting ready to take flight. Maybe it's just showing off. Either way, Birdo isn't going unnoticed.
Royston turquoise comes from Nevada's historic Royston mining district, known for producing beautiful shades of blue and green with distinctive earthy matrix. This blue-green cabochon sits at the center of a striking sterling silver bird, its long, outstretched wings decorated with intricate hand-stamped patterns, scalloped details and sharply tapered tips. Finished with dark brown braided leather, Bolo Birdo brings traditional Western silverwork together with a playful, unmistakable silhouette.
Materials + Care
My jewelry is imperfect and meant to look warn. I feel it adds to the one of a kind, handmade quality. I feel it's magic is to continue aging, gathering your energy in it's bones. Please let the dark spots darken and to refresh your shine, brush the high spots with 0000 steel wool. Avoid chemicals & water. Using silver polish will shine it up, removing the distressed patina.
